September 21, 2010 | Android News, Android Tablet Reviews

As we had mentioned in an earlier post, that the release date of the mighty Notion Adam was delayed to end of 2010 launch from the 3rd quarter this year, since, it was not submitted to US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on time. However, Mr. Rohan Shravan, Notion Ink’s Founder, CEO and Director of Creatives has updated his blog with the latest improvements taking place in Notion Ink’s Adam project.
It has been informed by the company sources that the progress of the overall project is a week ahead of the timetable and the device may receive the FCC certifications one week earlier, than the planned schedule.
Mr. Rohan Shravan has explained and updated each and every steps of his team towards the goal called “Adam” in his blog. It has been mentioned that 13 people have joined the “Adam” project in three weeks, to reduce the project completion duration. However, he also mentioned that the delivery of the computers that were ordered for the project from Dell were delayed by a week.
The latest flashing news from the company, that we would like to update you are the device comes with comic book store, which will officially go public on October, when the development process will be completed and the device is equipped with replaceable battery concept, though the battery back-up seems to be highly impressive. Now the normal LCD variant of the device also comes with the “LED On/Off”, like the Pixel Qi variant to eliminate the battery power consumption by turning off the LCD screen, while the Adam is performing a task without displaying anything on the screen, such as performing a download or playing music.
The sources of the company have announced that the Graphic Engine Deal for the Adam will be officially announced, in the mean, the complete GL acceleration will be available for the developers and it can be used in their own codes as well. At least, the company has proved itself by running project on track, ahead of schedule. Let’s hope to see the long awaited Android Tablet PC, as soon as possible, may be ahead of schedule, as they say.
